Hunting Bow Manufactures

Hunting Bow Manufactures.

Is more expensive better.... Maybe?

No matter what anyone says, epensive bows don't make a better shooter!!

Like golf and golf clubs, its the process of swinging the club that gets you the end result not the price of the clubs. Same as in archery, its the Process that gets you a result. The better the Process, the more consistent the Process, the better the result. Hunting bows in my opinion, the lighter the better.

Holding a bow all day as you spot and stock, you and your arm will know. Even as simple as walking from the truck to the blind and not being used to carrying one will seem like a long ways. You may think "hey its only 5 pounds." Yes, it's true 5 pounds is pretty light but now you need a sight, quiver, arrows, arrow rest, wrist sling, stabilizer, etc...

These may not all sound bad but every little thing ads up, not just in weight but in cost. There are retailers and manufactures that offer package deals (Bowtech, Diamond, Cabela's, etc...) at a lesser price than hand picking out the bow and all the accessories. Yes the accessories may not be the top of the line but this is on purpose, they are trying to help you not break the bank. Just because these accessories are not top of the line, does not mean they’re not any good.

First of all you have to think that if they put on accessories that are second rate, you would be discouraged with archery and never come back. Retailer's and Bow companies know this and only selling you one bow does not keep them in business. So if you don't have a plethora of cash in the bank, don't shy away from the package deals thinking they will put

junk on the bow. The other side of that coin is you can add whatever accessorie you want later.

So the point of all this is to say the most expensive bow may not be the best and the least expensive unconsiderable. You need to find a bow that fits you, and do not worry if it's not top of the line. The most expensive is expensive on purpose; they spend tons of money on R&D to have the latest and greatest in cutting edge technology. Now this may make a better bow, but it wont make you a better shooter. That depends on YOU. Going to 3D tournaments you will find there will be a lot of "hey look what I have" but at the end of the day, no one looks to see what bow you have. They look at your scores. So down the road when you have more cash available, step it up a bit and get that top of the line machine.

But whatever you purchase, practice, practice, practice, get good with what you have and be proud of it. Just because it may be a mid range bow doesn't mean you can't stack arrows with it.
