  This is our first entry for family outings and I have to say this is a good one. I have driven past the sign that said Turner falls several time and never took the time to see what it was all about.

  Well... this time I did, and it was worth it!!

  We stuffed the ice chests, packed the bags, grabed the tents and headed out the door...

Glen Rose is a town that you can visit and re-visit. Even though it is a small town, there is plenty to do there. Letting your kids play at Big Rock Park is one of them.

  It’s a place with large boulders that kid’s will love… and maybe dads as well.

Travel Channel Video contest!

  This is a video we put together for fun for a contest on the travel channel. We had a few hours to film and a few hours to edit.

So needless to say it's not the greatest but I decided to post it any way.

   Who would have thought an African safari could be in Texas. If you can't afford to go to africa, this is the next best thing.

But no hunting... Such a Bummer!

Seriously though, this place is a cool place to take the family on a day trip.
